Hi Fellow Alumni,
It's been a long time since I've sent a newsletter out, and I'm sure many of you have never received a newsletter from the Alumni Site.
Either way, I wanted to ask you all to swing back by for a visit if you haven't recently. I've managed to get some time in on the site and do some changes, updates, additions and such.
http://www.wvhsalumni.com
Among the changes:
Some of our School Colors have been adapted to the site (about time I know).
The Arcade has grown, and has a pretty decent selection of fun and addictive games for all.
A Point system has been added, those old timers to the site will remember the old version with points and rewards. The reward system/shop is yet to come, but to go with the points...
A Casino. Yeah, I know too many of you going on side trips to Vegas, or getting your quick fix at Soboba... take care of business right here. Casino standard fare included, plus 10 Player Texas Holdem!!
A Video section to add your favorite YouTube videos, and start discussion about them. This could be anything from Music Videos, TV Shows, Comedy shows, old and new alike. Bring it!
People have started filling the Albums again since we lost all of the pictures from the old site. Again, I wasn't able to bring them over, I apologize. Go ahead and throw a few new pictures up and take a look at what some of your fellow Alumni have been posting.
User Profiles, they are editable and customizable. Soon I'll be adding more features to the profiles. Check out your profile, and those that have already made changes to theirs. Find your friends, old friends, etc and leave a message for them in their profile, or in the forums, or via Private Message.
To top it all off, our very own Alfonso Flores has been entertaining with his "Bad Joke of the Day". The humor section has been named for him and his dedication to come back every day and add a little flavor to the site! Way to go Alf!
Birthdays! LOTS of them, and happy birthday to all of you celebrating! I used to list every bodies birthday in the Newsletter years ago, but that was back when we only had 50-100 members. At 685 members now, we have TONS of birthdays each month. Click the Calendar to see them all!
If you have forgotten your username or password, you can request to have your username emailed to you and to reset your password. When you fill in your registered email address (the one this newsletter was delivered to), you will be sent instructions on how to reset your password. Visit this link:

If you don't wish to recieve these emails from me, please logon to your account, goto your User Control Panel (User CP) and "Edit Options" and uncheck "Receive Email from Administrators". Or follow this link once logged into the site:

And one last thing, if the website is unresponsive, ever, please try again in 10 minutes or so. I've been having a heck of a time with my web host, and I'm trying to resolve the issues with them before jumping ship to another web host.
Thanks all for reading,
Mark Savage
